テレビで見ました・・・I saw on TV that
の２つのフレーズを覚えます。
この２つのフレーズは「I heard ・・・that」で表現することもできますが、“I read that”は 新聞や本など、 “I saw that” は テレビで情報を得たというときに使われます。
新聞で読んだ場合
I read in the newspaper that ～・・・と新聞で読みました
雑誌で読んだ場合
I read in a magazine that～・・・と雑誌で読みました
テレビで見た場合
I saw on TV that ～・・・とテレビで見ました
になります。
I read in the newspaper that the government is considering a tax increase. 政府が増税を検討していると新聞で読みました。
I read in the newspaper that the president will visit Japan. 大統領が日本を訪問するとテレビで見ました。
I read in a magazine that running is particularly popular these days. 最近、ジョギングが特に人気があると雑誌で読みました。
I saw on TV that it's going to snow tomorrow. 明日は雪になるとテレビで見ました。
I saw on TV that there was earthquake in Tokyo. 東京で地震があったとテレビで見ました。
